A few of the things that keep me curious outside of work.
Cybersecurity
Believe it or not, I am actually interested in Cybersecurity beyond just the stuff I do for work. Our field is constantly changing and evolving, especially now that AI has entered into the mainstream in the last few years. It’s important that I keep tabs on the latest security threats and help guide others to better protect themselves from them. Whether it’s podcasts, articles or my own personal experiences, I make sure that I am always in the loop so that I can prepare myself for what challenges I might face in the future.
Music
Music has always been a big part of my life, even from when I was young. I had always been fascinated by musicians and their ability to create sounds that not only are enjoyable, but can make you feel emotionally connected to the songs as well. I have been fortunate to be a part of many rock, pop punk, metal and even EDM projects over the years. I am always writing and recording new music in my free time and playing shows on the weekends with my friends.
Bands I Listen To
Honestly, too many to list out! However, some of my favorites include Blink-182, Enter Shikari, Erra, Bring Me The Horizon, and The Amity Affliction.
Video Games
Like many others in my field, I enjoy playing video games anytime I have the chance. Currently, I am playing through the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition to get excited for the upcoming release of GTA VI.
Movies
I actually prefer bad movies to good ones lately. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a good film when it comes along, but there's something satisfying about watching a terrible movie and being able to laugh at it with friends.
Photography
I've been taking photos for years now, but only recently have I started to take it seriously as an art form. I mainly focus on live show photography, capturing the energy and emotion of performances.
